Wymondham’s display is confirmed. We Love Fireworks 2026 runs on Friday 6 November, 5pm to 11pm, at Wymondham Rugby Club, Barnard Fields, Bray Drive, NR18 0GQ, and tickets went on sale ahead of 10 September.

Bonfire night 2026 falls on Thursday 5 November, but the club has run its display on the Friday in both 2024 and 2025.

Wymondham Rugby Club: the town’s display

The club calls it We Love Fireworks, and it is the only display in the town itself. It runs at Wymondham Rugby Football Club, Barnard Fields, Bray Drive, Wymondham NR18 0GQ, telephone 01953 687923. The club is run by Wymondham Community Rugby Trust, a registered charity, number 1172480.

Four types are on sale on the club’s own box office, and none of them carries a booking fee.

The £12 has held for a second year. Wymondham Town Council’s tourism site, Visit Wymondham, records the 2025 display as Friday 7 November, 17:00 to 23:00, at £12.00, and the 2024 one as Friday 8 November at £10.00.

The club says the event has sold out in each of the last three years, so early booking is the sensible move rather than the pushy one.

What is on

The club’s listing promises a firework display it bills as one of Norfolk’s biggest, plus:

  • a kids funfair
  • food vendors, local stalls and bars
  • a family-only viewing area
  • music and entertainment through the evening

The event sponsor is KBP Plant Hire and Contracting Ltd.

Getting there and parking

Barnard Fields is on Bray Drive, on the eastern edge of the town. On-site parking is £8 a car and has to be booked in advance with the tickets.

The club has made one request explicitly: there is no event parking on the neighbouring estate. It asks people to book on site, use the town’s public car parks, or travel by public transport.

The council car parks are cheap that evening. South Norfolk charges in them only between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, so a 5pm arrival is in the free window within the hour, and the first hour is free anyway. Elsewhere in the area

Both of the larger events near enough to matter were still unconfirmed for 2026 on 10 September.

Norfolk Autumn Lights, Norfolk Showground, NR5 0TT. About seven and a half miles from Barnard Fields, on the western edge of Norwich. The organiser’s Norfolk page still reads “Date TBC” under a “Get 2026 Alerts” sign-up. Its published running order, which it labels as last year’s, had gates at 15:00, a children’s fireworks and effects show at 19:40 and a grand finale at 21:15. Treat those as last season’s arrangements until a 2026 date appears.

Attleborough, Recreation Ground, Station Road NR17 2AS. About nine miles down the A11, and in Breckland rather than South Norfolk. Attleborough Town Council’s fireworks listing still shows Sunday 2 November 2025, 4pm to 9pm, run by the FunFest Team, and the page itself now says the event has passed. There is no 2026 listing.

What is still not published

  • Any road closure for the night. Norfolk County Council publishes event closures on its events temporary traffic orders page. On 10 September that page carried 27 orders across the county, none of them for Wymondham.
  • A 2026 date for Norfolk Autumn Lights or for Attleborough.
