Wymondham Rugby Club's We Love Fireworks returns on Friday 6 November, 5pm to 11pm, with entry held at £12 and no booking fee. Parking is £8 and has to be booked.

Wymondham’s fireworks night has a date. Wymondham Rugby Club has put We Love Fireworks 2026 on sale for Friday 6 November, 5pm to 11pm, at Barnard Fields, Bray Drive, NR18 0GQ.

General admission is £12, the same as last year, and the club’s box office adds no booking fee to it. Under-4s go free. The club says the display has sold out in each of the last three years.

It is the only display in the town. Neither of the two big alternatives within ten miles had a published 2026 date when we checked on 10 September.

The £12 entry price is a freeze rather than a rise. Wymondham Town Council’s tourism site, Visit Wymondham, records the 2025 display as Friday 7 November at £12, and the 2024 one as Friday 8 November at £10. So the price has held for a second year.

Bonfire night itself falls on Thursday 5 November in 2026. The club ran its display on the Friday in both 2024 and 2025, and it has done the same again.

What the club says will be there

The club’s own listing promises:

  • a firework display it bills as one of Norfolk’s biggest
  • a kids funfair
  • food vendors, local stalls and bars
  • a family-only viewing area
  • music and entertainment through the evening

Its event sponsor is KBP Plant Hire and Contracting Ltd. The club is run by Wymondham Community Rugby Trust, a registered charity, number 1172480, so the gate money stays with a Wymondham organisation.

Parking is the part to read twice

The club has put a direct request in its listing: there is no event parking on the neighbouring estate. It asks people to book the £8 on-site space, use the town’s public car parks, or come by public transport.

Wymondham’s four council car parks are a walk from Barnard Fields rather than a step away, but they are cheap on a Friday night. South Norfolk charges in them only between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday, so a 5pm arrival puts you in the free window almost immediately, and the first hour is free in any case. Cemetery Lane is the biggest at 90 spaces. The tariffs, and the trap in the fourth hour, are on our parking page.

Norfolk County Council publishes event road closures on its events temporary traffic orders page. On 10 September that page carried 27 orders across the county and none of them was for Wymondham, so no road closure has been advertised for the night. That can change, and we will say so here if it does.

What it means for you

If you go every year, book early rather than at half term. The club’s own claim is three consecutive sell-outs, and the VIP tier is explicitly capped at 200.

If you drive, book the parking at the same time as the tickets. The club has asked people not to park on the estate next door, and there is no on-street alternative it is pointing anyone towards.

If you are pricing a family night out, £12 a head with no booking fee is the whole ticket cost, plus £8 once for the car. A family of four with two children over four is £48 plus parking.

If you cannot make the Friday, there is currently nothing else confirmed nearby. We checked the two obvious alternatives again on 10 September:

  • Norfolk Autumn Lights, at the Norfolk Showground about seven and a half miles away on the western edge of Norwich, still says “Date TBC” for 2026.
  • Attleborough, about nine miles down the A11 and in Breckland rather than South Norfolk, still shows Sunday 2 November 2025 on the town council’s listing, an event that has already happened.
